I just watched Bruce Almighty on DVD again. And man, I actually found some beautiful words from that movie:
I want her to be happy.
No matter what that means.
I want her to find someone,
Who'll treat her with all the love she deserved for me.
I want her to meet someone,
who'll see her always,
as I do now,
through Your eyes.
And that shall be what I pray for her too. =/
Anyway, yeah, it had been quite a very long while since my last blog. Busy with stuff. Band practice, hanging out, etcetera. Lol.
Last night was fun! A Band Once performed in front of a very good crowd of ex Form6 students and others. There were 4 bands that performed: Epic Frequency, TriSera, A Band Once and lastly, Senjakala. Saw Kash and Sam and they both looked great. Anyway, our performance was quite average, a few missed beats and chords but it was all good. I think the crowd loved us despite the scratches here and there. I guess they didn't notice them. Hehe. Good for us? Not really. The next time we're going to perform, I'm going to make sure that we have alot of practice. And since it's already our 11tybillionth time performing, I would like all my band members to not get nervous in future gigs.
The after gig party was quite ok. All of us had fun doing whatever we're supposed to do with rave and house music. LOL! Zuul bought some glow sticks, which heightened the fun and all. All was cool, until outsiders came in and brought a wind of insecurity to us invitees. We exited slowly and by the time I was done packing my all my stuff, it was a completely different crowd on the dance floor. Oh well.
After I put my stuff in abg's car, we went to Dome to chill around for a while. There were Hafiz, his date, Sanusi, his cousin, a dude, Syazwan, Musa, Padil, Izzat, Abg and Adi. Some of us ordered a drink, I ordered a Lemon Chill which really was a really good relief for my worn-out vocal box. Hehe. We had planned to go to Kianggeh to get something to eat but then we all ended up going home instead. Met Douse, Pal and Ziman on the way down where Douse passed on the video from Sai's birthday gig.
Ahhh.. What a night it was. Too bad I didn't have a date. Oh and I did meet Zizi and the gang. Azim, Zizi, Erni, Dyjie and Zufa. They sat next to our table which I didn't get a chance to sit in. Ish. I didn't even get to savour the complete meal for that night. Playing for two bands is kinda hard. But it went well. Alrightey. Hehe.
I've asked Nina's uncle for the pictures of that night, I'll set up an online photo album where all of you would be able to view them. I'll also include pictures of our own so I think this should be great. Ayte. I wana look for the Bill and Ted torrent now. Man I really gota watch it again. Hehe. Cya.
